Recent Travels

This last weekend I went to the coast with one of my good friends, Candace. It was just what I needed -- very relaxing. We talked, read, cooked, hiked, and made art. Below are some of the images from the weekend:

Below are a couple of photos of Candace taken at sunset. I met her last year when she hired me to photograph her wedding. Her wedding was on my birthday and I had it marked on my online calendar that I was unavailable that weekend. She called anyway and said she loved my work and really wanted me as her wedding photographer. I said okay and we’ve been hanging out ever since. She is definitely one of the coolest people I know!

A few weekends ago my wonderful husband and I stayed at a gorgeous B&B on the McKenzie River called Eagle Rock Lodge. My family got us the gift as a Christmas present. Interestingly it's where I shot my first paid wedding several years ago. It snowed most of the time we were there so I didn't venture out much (after all we were there to relax), but the first day was sunny and here are just a few images I took:
