8 Things

I’ve been tagged a few times to do this but I’ve been so busy I haven’t gotten around to it. Anyway, here goes... eight things you probably didn’t know about me in no particular order…

1. I have been married for three years this month and together with my husband for a total of six.

2. I love to travel and learn and I believe that the best education life can offer one is through travel. I plan to travel the world throughout my lifetime. So far I have been to Europe twice (for three weeks each time), Mexico seven times, Hawaii three, and Jamaica. I need to travel some mid-west states and the east coast. For some reason I really desire the urge to go to Vermont in the fall.

3. Family is the most important thing to me in life. With out them it would be meaning less.

4. I graduated with honors in high school and college.

5. My favorite color is red.

6. I had my first job when I was 12 working at a restaurant. I was the teller, waitress, hostess, prep-cook and cook. I also opened and closed the place when my shift called for it. Looking back I can’t believe they gave me so much responsibility at age 12. I don't think it's even legal these days...? I didn’t even know the people they just hired me because I wanted a job.

7. My very first car was a Nissan sentra that I bought myself when I was 15. It sat in my drive way for two months before I actually turned 16. My birthday fell on a Sunday so I had to wait yet another day to get my license before I could to drive it! But my very favorite car of all was a red convertible Volkswagen rabbit that I had for two years until someone hit me and totalled it.

8. I am an introvert. It’s really ironic because for my business and my other job I have to be extroverted (which is good for me!).
