The buildings remind me of being in Italy. I've been to Italy twice now and the architecture of the buildings -- the curved archways, the lines, the details, the colors -- all are similar in Santa Barbara.

Between the wedding rehearsal and bridal reception at the lake, I was a tourist and walked around town for a few hours. I also took a narrated 90 minute city tour on the trolley. It was great and very educational!
