Photography Training

I went to South Dakota for several days to train and learn from Cory Ann of AC Ellis Photography. Cory Ann is one of the most creative, ambitious, agile photographers that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She literally is jumping all over working the angles and lighting, and is constantly scanning for creative back drops and posing ideas. It was a pleasure to watch her work! Thanks Cory Ann! Check out her blog to see some of the images that she was capturing while I was taking these photographs of her working.

Bridal Session

Lifestyle Family Session

Capturing their cute little booties! I was praying she wouldn't fall in!

Cory Ann photographing a senior. I took this photo of her as I was peaking through the floor boards of an old truck that they were in.

Bridal Session around town

I didn't get to second shoot at any weddings because I ended up sick with food poisoning, but at least I got to go on four other shoots with her -- two lifestyle family sessions, a bridal, and a senior session. I will write more later about the trip and hopefully post some of the pictures that I took as second shooter.

Sara, CA is so awesome! I can only hope you gained something from her and your time here. I heard you were sick and that stinks! It was so nice to meet you and good luck on your career!

Hi Jessica,

I did learn a lot from CA! It was a great experience. Thanks for letting me be a part of your photo shoot. You have a beautiful family and home -- Ema has the most captivating eyes, she looks so much like you! It was very nice meeting you as well.
